Workout Timer & Tracker for iPhone and Apple Watch
This guide takes you from install to your first workout — with reliable halfway and 5-second cues — on iPhone and Apple Watch.
Change these later in iOS Settings → Notifications and Health → Data Access & Devices.
Go to Routines → ⚙️ Settings → Voice Cues:
Tap Test voice to preview at your current volume.
In Routines, tap the ▶︎ Play button on a routine. The Run screen shows the current segment, countdown, and round. Controls: Start / Pause / Next.
Open the app on your Watch and start the routine. The Watch mirrors progress and sends milestones to your iPhone. Gentle haptics on Watch; iPhone handles voice and banners.
Settings → Health Workouts shows workouts created by this app. Reload, Delete individual, or Delete All. This does not remove your Routines — only Health logs.
Ensure Voice Cues are ON, raise volume slider, check iPhone is not on Silent, and confirm Bluetooth headphones are the active output.
Ensure Notifications are allowed. Open the app at least once after install. If starting from Watch, keep Bluetooth on.
Open Watch app on iPhone → My Watch → scroll to Reptime → Install. Enable Automatic App Install.
Build unlimited routines with timed or reps & weight segments. Save defaults, reorder, duplicate, and edit on the fly.
Automatic halfway and last 5 seconds cues. Optional auto-start moves you through segments without tapping. Clear countdown timers with round tracking (e.g., "Round 2 of 3").
Spoken prompts mix with Spotify/Apple Music. Adjustable voice volume independent of music. Choose whether music ducks during cues or stays untouched. Background-ready: cues work with the screen off.
Start on iPhone or Watch — progress syncs automatically. Haptics on Watch, banners + voice on iPhone. Reliable fallback sync if the Watch is briefly unreachable.
Save completed workouts directly to Apple Health. Manage logged workouts from inside the app. Only Workouts access is requested.
All routines and stats stored locally on your device. No accounts, no tracking, no external servers. Full control over HealthKit permissions.
Tap + New in the Routines list. Add segments — Timed or Reps & Weight. Name it and Save. The app remembers your last defaults to speed up adding similar exercises.
Go to ⚙️ Settings: toggle Voice Cues ON, set Voice Volume, choose Duck Music, and enable Auto-Start Timed Exercises. Tap Test Voice to hear a sample.
Timer View shows remaining time, round number, and current exercise. Controls: Start/Pause, Next Segment, Done. You'll hear "Halfway" at the midpoint and 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 at the end of each timed segment — over your music.
Start on either device — progress syncs via Bluetooth. If the Watch briefly loses connection, the iPhone queues updates and resends when available.
